‘From Coonabarabran TAFE Library.  Thanks to NEITAFE for all the support to our town.  These photos show you the reality you helped, during and after the firestorm.  “Robina’s place” is a small house in the Warrumbungle Mountains next to the radiotelescope.  It was saved by a dump of water from a helicopter as the fire passed over.  The pilot said it was the red roof which enabled him to take aim in the darkness.  Robina says “If you’re going to build in a place like this – have a red roof!”’  Photos courtesy RFS.
